Join us for the 7th Annual Veterans Salute, Brew & Que held this year on Veterans Day, Saturday November 11th, 2023.

A curated selection of vendors will be set up just off Main Street on Liberty Street from 9am-4pm. There will be a Pound Cake contest at Town Hall. The Annual Bigfoot Cook-off will be underway with BBQ sampling starting at noon ($10 per ticket) & also at that time, voting for People's Choice Que Winner will begin & last until 4:00 pm. We will also have great selection of brews & wine during the day and a concert featuring Jim Quick & Coastline at TownStage at 2 pm. Be sure to visit our local shops, restaurants, stores, & Discover Uwharrie Welcome Center while in town.

We will have a Veterans Day Parade on Main Street at 11 am to celebrate our veterans. We will have a Kid's Zone in Capel Park from 11 am-3 pm with fun inflatables and games. There will also be food trucks at TownStage during the concert. It's going to be a fantastic Day-long event you won't want to miss!
